ESPN still has not marked Derrek lee as DL, even though it has now been almost a full day since he was put back on the list.
When a top-ten, undroppable player goes on the DL, it should be noticed and noted almost immediately. By failing to be on top of this, ESPN really screws up it's paying customers abilities to make the necessary adjustments.
i've never played fantasy baseball on espn.com, but knowing how their fantasy football works (or should i say doesn't work at all), i'm not surprised. i had awful experiences with their service each of the past 2 years. the site looks good and everything, but as far as it actually working...no way. they're a worldwide pain in the a.

Got to agree - if their Fantasy Baseball is anything like their Fantasy Football, its a piece of crap.

I am disappointed.
Lee is nowhere near a top 10 player. Probably not even top 100 due to the wrist injury
Of course he isn't now... jeez. At the start of the season, his value was top-ten. That means that when he goes DL, teams who own him will be losing one of their first draft picks. the least ESPN could do is give them the abiltiy to adjust as quickly as possible.
Maybe that was Harold Reynold's job?.... It does seem stupid, since you'd think all the guys who do this play fantasy baseball so they'd know this stuff.
I dont think that someone at Yahoo should be sitting aroudn all day long waiting to update player status. Within 24 hours of hitting the DL is reasonable IMO. I also believe that most of their updates are batched overnight so it would be the following morning.
