here's a nice little trivia question for you guys. there are 7 ways to get on base without recording a hit. what are they?

I forgot who it was, but Vin Sculley was talking about a Dodger pitcher who was throwing a no hitter, and with 2 outs in the 9th, the guy at bat hit a grounder that hit a runner, and was credited with a hit but the runner was out, end of game.

That applies to base stealing/runners advancing, not to batted balls I believe.
