I hear that he hasn't had back spasms since sunday. It's thought that he may be back after the phillies series. Let's hope so anyways! But this is here say, no one knows for definate yet!

Apparently he visits a chiropractor in Atlanta when this happens and he gets instant relief, so I wouldn't be surprised to see him return Tuesday.

This totally inconclusive update came from MLB.COM:

Sanchez may have the benefit of facing a Braves lineup that doesn't include Andruw Jones and Chipper Jones. Both have missed the past two games and Chipper's left oblique strain could sideline him for the entire series. Andruw's sore back may be healthy enough for him to play on Tuesday.

Gonna have to watch the lineup cards and even then he may pinch hit.

He did pinch hit in the bottom of the 8th. He struck out, no surprises there. He'll likely be back tomorrow, I'd guess.

Cox is super cautious with his players and usually gives them an extra day off, especially in a situation like tonight when it is the first game after a late flight.

Andruw took some very healthy hacks and I expect him to be in the lineup again tomorrow. He's been one of the most durable guys in the majors over his career, but with the huge Mets series coming up I think Bobby wanted to make sure Andruw healed up 100%.

Andruw Jones missed his third straight game Tuesday due to a stiff back, according to the AP. He's expected to miss Wednesday's game, as well. "It is bad. It is real bad," he said. "It's hard when you cannot breathe. That's what it is. It's right behind my shoulder blade and my lung. When you breathe it just kind of cuts you off." He said he wouldn't try to swing a bat before Thusday.
