Not sure if i'd have Paps as your #1 closer. As far as I know there is still lots of talk that he'll be in the rotation next year.

VMart currently plays 1B against LHP and catches against righties. They don't like Shoppach enough to start him everyday; plus, if they did, VMart would catch on Shoppach's days off, which would give him more than 5 games at C which will make him eligible. I feel he will always catch enough games to stay eligible, at least for the next few years.
C: Pierzynski
1B: Pujols
2B: Altuve
3B: Miggy
SS: HanRam
OF (x3): CarGo, M. Bourn, D. Jennings
UTIL (x2): E. Encarnacion, C. Hart
BN: Cuddyer, C. Ross, J. Montero

SP: Price, Gallardo, T. Hudson, Lester
RP: Chapman, Jansen, Rodney, Putz, Cishek, Bailey

Why is Roy Oswalt not on anyone's list?? I just made a trade for him in a keeper league.... Even though bedard's been hot, I'd still rather have oswalt over him.

No team ever has or ever will agree to put that in a contract.

FYI> Figgins will have 2b status in 2007 as he already has started 5 games at the position this year. I would probably include him in the top 5 at 2b.

Just some random thoughts. Too many people are seemingly quickly writing off Tex. He is still a talent and should be top-5 in any keeper format. Halladay not seeing the love either. IMO, he is top-5 in a keeper league.
Holliday should see some more love as well. He's been slumping, but it was not all that long ago that his numbers were not all that much different than Bay's. He will heat up again and position himself as a very good keeper candidate.

Soriano probably gets 2B elligibility again next year but it isn't guaranteed. Utley and Figgins should be in the top 3 and I'd put Roberts 4th but after that 2B is up in the air IMO. Uggla has been great this year but I don't see a repeat given his minor league numbers. Cantu and Giles have fallen off everyone's radar. Kendrick has some nice potential but so does Weeks, Lopez, Burke, Kinsler, and Barfield. Cano seems solid but nothing special. I don't know what to expect from Phillips. Freel doesn't have a full-time job and just turned 40 so he's out for me. Iguchi turns 32 in December so I don't think he is a good choice in a keeper either.

Probably Weeks - but with two more months to go, someone might stand out. Also, I think I'd rather have Lopez over Roberts. Lopez is in a rut at the moment, but I expect he'll pick it up at some point. This position will be a hard one next year.

Um if you are putting DH's at first base how in the world do you leave off the best "first baseman" behind pujols? Hafner is number 2 on the list no question.

Pujols
Hafner
Ortiz
Tex
Howard

That would be my top 5.
