I'm upset about this as a Thames owner and as a Tiger fan. They should just take Shelton out of the lineup and put Dmitri at first. It would be a hit to the defense, but it's not like Shelton is a gold-glover or anything.

In 7 or 8 day we'll see if he gets dealt or not. If he doesn't, detroit better use him because, if they don't, they are not being very smart. He would be an important piece to a world championship run.

Detroit is basically auditioning DY to see how he's playing and if they need to trade for a bat or not

after the Deadline i'd expect DY, Shelton, Monroe and Thames to all split time between 1B/OF/DH in some way
