It's down to him and Shelton, but I think the odds are definitely against Thames. This is the second time in the last couple days of he hasn't been in the starting lineup :-?

B/c Shelton plays 1st i guess and monroe, ordonez, and granderson have been playing better and are better defensively...and young is a better dh and shelton playing 1st = thames has no position b/c he was already flip flopping around in the OF and DH...Just was seeing if anyone felt it was time to stop riding him and if he even had a spot...Maybe he will get dealt??!!

Factor in his recent 0/17 slump in the past 7 days and Thames is going to find it very hard to see his name on the lineup sheet

Not in the lineup again for today's game. Dmitri Young is DH'ing.

Time to cut loose on Thames, and thank him for his dingers.

Detroit should just deal him instead wasting his offense on the bench. Everyone goes through slumps, and Thames was do for one. He will bounce back if he plays, if not, Tigers should trade him.
