anyone have any info on how the tigers plan on using verlander the rest of the year? ive heard they want to limit his innings because hes so young, but can they really afford to take him out of the rotation?

I've read in the papers all the time, that Leyland has a "plan" on how to protect his young Stud. But he has yet to reveal what it is. I think it may be a 6 man rotation, but as Miner continues to struggle, the less I think that will be an option. They may skip him here or there, but I can't see them doing anything drastic as they try to win a World Series.

I know it's crucial to save your arms for the playoff, but I don't think anything will happen to the Tigers rotation until they officially clinch the playoffs.
