I drafted this guy in the 13th round of my draft thinking to myself, "No way can I depend on this guy to be my 3rd baseman all season long. I need to look for a replacement."
He has proved me wrong with his remarkably consistant performance this year. He is actually hitting alot better away from Coors this season(.330) and he is now hitting third in the Rockies order. He is in the top 5 for RBIs and average for third basemen.
If he develops a little more pop he could be a .315/30/100 guy somewhere down the line. Does anyone think he could actually get near those totals this season. I guess a reasonable projection would be .310/22/105..With numbers like that, I feel like he deserves a little more love here at the cafe.
