Polanco leaves after getting hit in the head...

Jul 23 Polanco left Sunday's game against Oakland in the first inning after being hit in the head by a pitch from Esteban Loaiza. The 30-year-old Tigers second baseman walked off the field under his own power after being examined by Detroit trainers. He was replaced by Omar Infante.

Advice: X-rays of Polanco's jaw were negative, but he was to undergo further tests later Sunday. He's hitting .295 with three homers and 37 RBIs this season.

Any new news on how he is doing?
