Red Sox are mis-using Papelbon

Im just really mad about the Sox losing today and how they managed to lose it.. I do not give 2 farts on Papelbons numbers today because I blew out my opponent this week in my HTH league.. It's very fustrating to see Paps not be put in a situation like todays.. I mean come on, the Sox worked Timlin hard over the last few days all the while Paps had extended rest.. to coaches decision...Thats all I was trying to say

So why not just post exactly that in the Sox Game Commentary thread and alleviate us of another Papelbon thread here in Leftovers?

Yeah, my idea of a top flight reliever is that you use him in the most critical situations, not just in the 9th inning with a lead. Because if you don't use him in tight situations where you need a good pitcher the most, you lessen that pitcher's value immensely (and in the case of a pitcher like Ryan or Rivera, it becomes a question of why are you paying the guy all that money?). I hate when managers become a slave to the save.

he probably should be, i definetly wouldnt object to that. im just asking to give a break on the constant correcting. if you dont like the post dont read it and when the post is obviously out of place it will be moved.
