Interesting, any meaning to this? I hope they are trying to play him everyday, and i'll take the dual eligibility.

He mentioned in his interview that he played a few games at 3rd in AAAjust to get him slightly ready, but that's just to get him some abs this year. He'll be the full time 2b next year.

I think Scioscia is trying to light a fire under Kennedy sending a message that note even his platoon status is safe, plus he wants Kendrick to get ABs on righties... 1 for 4, a double, not bad. Strictly platooning him against lefties isn't going to get him where he needs to be. (1) it wouldn't get enuf abs, and he needs abs versus righties anyway, because that's what he's gonna face most often when he's the full time 2b.
