Fouled a ball off his foot against Liriano and had trouble running to second for a double in the same at-bat. Stayed in the game but looked to b in quite a bit of pain. Just giving the heads up.
And Liriano is unbelievable.

I expected big things after that huge start to the season but it seems like the man's cooled down. Still not bad for a catcher though.
Still second ranked catcher according to Yahoo, but his power numbers have been greatly disappointing. Even his RBI and run production has slowed of late.

He's still producing quietly. In the past 30 days:
.360, 14 R, 1 HR, 12 RBIs.
The homers aren't really there, but he's hitting the hell out of the ball. He doesn't have Mauer's average, but if you've got him, you've gotta be happy.
Scratched for tonight's start vs. the Tigers because of the foul ball he took off the foot yesterday.

Victor Martinez (C) Cle did not start on Monday because of a sore left big toe he initially injured on Sunday, according to the AP. He was originally in the lineup but was scratched after returning from the hospital for tests. It is unknown at this time if Martinez broke his toe.
