Actually, any Blue Jays fans care to comment on where they think Lugo would hit in the order if traded to the Jays? I think he'd have a legit shot at the leadoff slot but I don't know the team that well. It's not like they have a Reyes on their team though.

I honestly don't know where they'd put Lugo if they do in fact trade for him. Reed Johnson has been one of the best leadoff hitters in the league this season in a breakout year (he's been extremely underrated), so I really can't see him losing that spot. Catalanotto has also been a great #2 hitter agaisnt righties. It will be tough to fit Julio up high in the order agaisnt right handers with those 2 there, and currently both of them are hitting better agaisnt them than Lugo. Agaisnt lefties however, Lugo could probably fit into that #2 spot (he's hit both kinds of pitchers well, but lefties more so this year).

Jul 31 Lugo was traded to the Dodgers for Joel Guzman and Sergio Pedroza, ESPNews reports.
Recommendation: Lugo will play second base for the Dodgers while Jeff Kent is on the DL. Lugo is a free agent at the end of the season, but given how much they paid for Lugo, it's expected that they'll make a decent effort to retain him this offseason.
