You wouldn't have said Perez was totally wild say two years ago... my point is that young pitchers with control problems are unpredictable, and that a young stud hitter will be more predictably better, so if you are giving up a more sure thing, then I think you should go for a more proven SP (a month ago I would have said Dan Haren but he has struggled recently). With your depth at 3B I think dealing Marte is the right decision, I am just not sure now (before he comes up) is the right time, or if Cain is the right guy.

Cain hasn't yet went over that line since he came into the majors. Yes, I was one of the believers 2 years ago. But to compare Cain to Ollie is absurd.
