Helton dropped to 5th in lineup

It was interesting to notice this change in the lineup after seeing Helton in the 3-hole for so many years. Atkins hitting third tonight with Holliday hitting cleanup. It will be interesting to see if this continues or whether it's just short term thing given Helton's poor numbers since the break. Could be a lot of RBI opps for him if Atkins and Holliday continue to hit well.

Very doubtful, I don't see the Rockies brass trading Helton. No one would want his contract anyways, and Helton is a very important part of the organization.

Atkins hit a 2 run HR in the 1st inning, while Helton struck out. Hard to say if this move is temporary or permenant, guess we'll have to see.

Something will happen. If the Rockies want to contend, they need to move that contract. Some team will be willing to take a chance on Helton; the Rox may need to pay some salary, but a change of scenery could benefit Helton.
