You might be right to a certain extent about Swisher's first half numbers.
I think, at least as far as the batting average goes, he was WAY ahead of his projections.
But as far as the other numbers, he had decent power numbers for a rookie last season, and this is only his second year. Actually, in the minors, he had a very "livable" OBP and OPS.....I don't think there's any reason to think he won't continue his power and on-base numbers into the second half.
BA, however, is right back to about where it should be.
