Burned by the Unit and Peavy

Postby chodaboy » Tue Aug 26, 2003 1:30 pm

I was expecting a nice K production from Randy and Peavy last night. The Padres don't hit much and neither has Arizona. But I didn't even consider them both getting tee-d off on :~( Very very frustrating. Just when I thought they'd settle down, more runs score. After awhile, was expecting the padres to come back to win the game, and I'd even miss out on a win. Anybody else burned by any of these two yesterday. :-[

Nope. That game rocked! Only a save from Shooter could have made it sweeter.

I started Loretta, Hammock, and Nevin in that game.

I've been trying to convince an owner in my leage to not keep RJ for next year. He's on his way down from a very very good career. You just can't expect the 10+ K's a game like you used to.
