I wouldn't mind getting Lugo, hes pretty good offensively and im sure his defence is way better than Russ Adams

how bout macdonald?
i think hes doing just fine..
i like those arms..
I'm not convinced McDonald can be a starting SS for a contending team. His career average is .237, and heading into today's 3 hit performance he was near the Mendoza line. Obviously pitching is the team's biggest need, but if there is nothing out there (unless we go after both needs), Lugo would be a fine addition to this team.

when does lugo's contract go till?
He's certainly not great defensively, but he's been a very good hitter this year. However, I wouldn't trade that much for him if we weren't able to sign him to a contract extension.

I like Mcdonald and im a big fan of his defence, but Weir is right Mcdonald just can't be a starter for a contending team. The Jays will probably try to make a run at Julio Lugo, but i would also like to see them address other areas i don't think Jeremy Accardo is the answer to their bullpen troubles. I would like to see them add a decent starting pitcher if possible, and grab another reliever for the pen
