Andrew Miller or Evan Longoria

I have the chance to pick up one of these two in a 16 team mixed keeper. Which one do I go for? Early signs point that Longoria's ETA is 2008 while Miller isn't signed yet. As such, any Tiger fans know how contract talks are going and which one will have an earlier ETA?

I have my doubts about Miller..... that and hitters are a little safer/easier to project out. I'd take Longoria.

I'd take Longoria, he is much more of a sure thing than Miller. Like the guy above me, I have doubts about Miller.

longorias stats after destroying Class A short season. I would think the Rays will call him up september next year or the ST 2008. He has hit well everywhere he goes. His next stop will be AA montgomery which is a Huge pitchers park. Keep an eye on him there, but i think Longoria will be a great player.

It's a tough call because Miller is very good, Detroit is good at moving and developing its pitchers, and Comerica is huge. That and he should move through the minors quickly.

I'd go with Longoria because, as J said, hitters are easier to project and more of a sure thing.
