Personally, I'd start him in San Diego, but trust your instincts here. The worst that can happen is that you'll miss a decent start.

With the Cubs getting rained out today, the matchup changes to Sosa, McGriff, and Alou vs. Lawrence.

Also, I think I was being unclear (sorry), what I meant was, I have Sosa, Alou, and McGriff on my team along with Lawrence!

Playing Lawrence would most likely bring you an average day: if your hitting rocks, your pitching will suffer, and vice versa. Benching Lawrence raises the stakes: you could do very well, or have a disappointing day. More risk, more fun, as they say.... (does anybody really say that?)

It sounds like you're rooting for your bats - in that case, sit Lawrence, but don't fret about this decision too much, especially if he does well.
