The Braves are 12 games out of first and only one ahead of Philadelphia... only 2.5 ahead of the $15 mil payroll Marlins. This is an inevitable win streak that happens to even the worst teams in baseball... when the Royals win 6 games in a row it's called a "fluke." When the Braves do it, it's the comeback of the century? Come on.
If the season were to end today, the Braves would finish in 6th place in the wild card standings; Cincinatti, San Fran, Arizona, LA, Houston, Milwaukee, and even Colorado have a better record than Atlanta right now... granted, the teams are close and the Braves are only 4.5 back in the wild card, but that's a lot of wild card competition, mostly from teams who have a major league level starting rotation. And believe me, Bob Wickman isn't going to save them.
$10 says the Braves make the playoffs.
I'd take that bet in a heartbeat if I thought you'd pay.

Why don't you trust me? We can have a middle-man take the money through Paypal, although Paypal sucks money out of everything you do so it wouldn't be too wise.
Well whoever's first willing to take the bet with me gets it, since there are apparently so many suitors. $10 through Paypal. If there's a tie, no one gets the money.

If the Braves tie? That's not possible; you're either in or you're out.

If they tie someone else for a playoff spot and lose in a one game playoff--that's a terrible indicator of how they finish out the season. Either way I doubt it happens but it's possible.
