Give it to me straight- I WILL HELP YOU

How do you like my team?

H2H, no keeper, no points for relievers or runs(don't ask), and steals are not worth a hole lot either. Thanks. leave a link and I will help you.

Here is my team:
C-mauer
1-sexson
2-figgins
ss-reyes
3-sanchez
of-guerrero
of-holliday
of-sizemore
of-crawford
dh-cameron
bench-a. gonzolez

starter-pedro
felix
kazmir
haren
buehrle
hamels
jeff weaver

Thinking of moving vlad for wright. or should i use vlad to get some stronger pitching with the playoffs in mind? Thanks

I'd find a way to get Gonzales starting - I like him better than Cameron at DH.

I don't like Jeff Weaver there and Hamels is a question mark. So yes, one more strong pitcher would work - but not sure if I'd give up Vlad for one.

I'd look to the WW to see who is available for pitching first - always some pitcher thats been discarded but has enough in him for a 2nd half surge.

yah i feel the same way as the above post. figg has struggled avg. was this year and ther is no need to keep all of them is SB's arent worth much. the 2 with the most power are obviously sizemore and crawford so maybe you should move say figgins and a pitcher for an even better one. might want to move hamels and weaver too, they've really really struggled lately.

pitching

Postby dsolarz » Sat Jul 22, 2006 12:04 pm

u have room to move vlad for pitching. buehrle sucks, pedro wont do u any good, so definitely try to get some starting pitching. i would suggest jon garland, people won't ask for much, and he's won five of his last starts and will continue to work well cause he finally has his sinking fastball down

Agree with the others about the SBs. U'll want to keep Vlad. U could use some better pitching; Jeff Weaver sucks, Buerle has been getting pounded as of late. Maybe trade Sizemore for a Garland or a Olsen.

By the way, despite sb value, Reyes ranks 2nd for SS, Figgins ranjs 6th at 2nd base, crawford ranks 10th OF and Sizemore ranks 11th. All but Figgins are in Top 25 of my league. So I think I ended up OK.

not just the SBs you mention no points for runs? then no point having chone, reyes and crawford all their values are shot down the drain. id rank your team 6/10 at most without those categories with those categories 8/10
