Can someone tell me how I can put a + or a - alone in one of the blocks of an excel spreadsheet, and not have it say A1 or whatever. I just want it to show the + or -.

Not fooling with you at all - try the Help menu for some of these things. Excel's Help menu isn't the greatest thing in the world, but I pretty much taught myself how to use Excel using that thing.
