This squad needs SPEED. Suggestions?

Postby scotty5150 » Thu Jul 20, 2006 12:03 pm

My squad definitely has some pop, but I lag in runs and SBs every week. Any suggestions for who to persue before the deadline?

Reyes and Crawford owners in my league have made it clear they're not being traded, so that's out of the question.

Also, I was offered Hermida and Ichiro for Bay recently, which I turned down. Was that a mistake?

If B.J. Upton is still on the WW, pick him up as fast as possible. Drop Maroth for him

Otherwise, you may look at guys like Felipe Lopez or Dave Roberts.

howie kendrick and bj upton would are two infielders who would help by bringing speed and runs to your team. and i guess you could check if j. lugo (though i doubt he is) is out there he has been swipping the bases like crazy lately.

Your lineup is pretty deep for a 14 team league, while I don't think it was a mistake to turn that trade down based solely on the looks of it on paper, I'd be more inclined to consider it if I knew where you stood in your categories. But if it were me, I'd definitely go back and try to make this trade again.
