From Brewers official website Saturday:
"For those waiting to buy tickets to see Ben Sheets return to the Brewers' rotation at Miller Park, it appears Tuesday is the day.
The Brewers listed Doug Davis as the scheduled starter for Monday's game against the Pirates and Chris Capuano for Wednesday, leaving Tuesday empty. The obvious candidate is Sheets, who has been out since the first week of May with a sore right shoulder.
"I hope," Sheets said before the Brewers and Reds played Saturday. "I have to throw this bullpen today, but I think then I'll pitch."
Manager Ned Yost and pitching coach Mike Maddux likely will wait until the last moment to make a formal announcement and the requisite roster move. Sheets threw his usual between-starts bullpen session on Saturday at Great American Ball Park, a tune-up that normally falls three days before his starts.
Sheets made his third Minor League rehabilitation start on Wednesday and would be pitching Tuesday on five days rest instead of the usual four.
"An extra day or two doesn't matter," Sheets said. "Once I get going I'd like to stay on [a schedule], though." "
From Sunday:
"Milwaukee will send left-hander Doug Davis to the mound in the opener of a three-game series Monday against the Pirates, who plan to counter with left-hander Zach Duke."

If he gets two starts this week I'll activate him tonight, but if it is only one, I will wait a week.
I guess I will go check the Milwaukee papers.
thanks
I'd still start him...look at all the K's people have been piling up against Pittsburgh. He could put up a 6 inning, 10 K outing.

Further, you never know how many starts he's going to give you the rest of the way...may as well roll the dice as you've already probably invested a lot in him.
Thanks for the scouting report Strasil

Let's go O's. Let's go Mets.

I'm gonna start him. I didn't have him sitting on my DL all year to bench him when he finally returns to the rotation.

I am the Master. Don't question the Master. Just do what he says and be proud.
