W-O-W 8-o

Hmmmm....Blalock = Second Half Struggle, especially against lefties

Hillenbrand, according to the Dallas Morning news, hitting .337 vs. lefties.

Please, Jon Daniels, please? If you give me this early christmas present, I promise to be good. Please??

Any chance of trading Wilkerson for him? Haha I wish...

LF Mench CF Matthews RF DeRosa
1B Tex 2B Kinsler SS Young 3B Blalock/Hillenbrand
DH Blalock/Hillenbrand
C Barajas/Laird

This would settle DeRosa into a regular role, and Hairston can sub the IF/OF when necessary

This could be the "impact bat" Texas needs. Now to find a starting pitcher and relief pitcher...

I know the Angels are interested. A good right bat would be handy, but Sciocsia is not into "problem players" although in a playoff hunt, he might be able to bite the bullet, although it sounds to me like the "problems" in Toronto may not be entirely on his shoulders.

Hillenbrand and Vince Chulk was traded to the Giants for Accardo. Not good trade, fantasywise, for Hillenbrand. Maybe another platoon situation with Sweeney? Ack :-o
