Ruben Gotay (Keppinger trade)

Keppinger was traded to KC for Gotay (AAA 2B). So what do we know about this guy?

As of now he is hitting .345 with 7 Rbi's for Norfolk. I guess they didn't see substantial development in Keppinger even though I liked him. I hope this trade simply means that if Valentin somehow falters he will be called up. He hit well in his last season with K.C. (.288 in '05) and with that lineup will not kill us in the 8th slot if we attempted to deal with Anderson Hernandez there in the beginning of the season he would do.
