Thoughts on Ramon Ortiz

Does anybody even think this guy is worth keeping in a 10 team mixed league? I know he has 15 wins. But the ERA and WHIP are out of this world. Rotoworld is recommending that mixed leaguers should drop him. At this point, I can't disagree any longer. Any reason I should be optimistic and hang on to him?

If there is a better option on FA or you can get good spot start match ups...I would go ahead and drop him....I did drop him in one league about a month ago and nobody has picked him up.... :-)

Mr. Gopher Ball. :-D

He was on my do not draft list this year.

He hasn't seen the light of day in my lineup since his last start in DET. Before then, it had been a long time. But for some reason, I can't drop the dude. I keep thinking he'll get hot, but I'm not any longer.

Baby Pedro (ortiz) has great stuff.. not much control and when he loses it, he gives in and throws it right over the plate.

i had him for a while and even though he just got me two more W's against Detroit in his last outings, he's been Terrible! I don't like the way his schedule looks over the last month of the season so I just dropped him Friday night, picking up Contreras. If there's anyone remotely hot on the wire with a favorable bunch of September starts, I'd go that way...
