just want to make sure everybody's opinion agrees with mine...
Spiezio, Tex, A. Ramirez, Beltre, Nevin....
I am gonna drop one of them for another...just wanted to see how everybody would rate them...
Useless Trivia of the day
England's Worcester Canoe Club set the world record for paddling a hand-propelled bathtub. The 25 man team covered a distance of 55 miles, 425 yards in 24 hours on September 28 and 29, 1979.
Sorry..I didn't put them up there in any particular order....I just have one of them who I am not happy with...and wanted to see how the group would be rated....

Nevin

Beltre pobably belongs higher on that list, but that is my "Burned by Beltre" opinion ..

If I needed someone today, I would probably pick in this order:
1. Ramirez (hot lately)
2. Beltre (hot lately and typical late season bloomer)
3. Nevin (good potential but will it happen this year?)
4. Tex (good but expected more from him this year)
5. Spiezio (huh??)
Those guys are pretty muddled so I'm just going to give my thoughts with no particular order. Other than Spiezio has to be last on the list:
Nevin--Could break out big any day now, or wait until next year
Tex--Was showing what he could do, then seems lost again
Beltre--Doing well and a second half player, big + right now
Ramirez--Hot right now, could keep going, remember a couple of years ago? Or could completely fall flat.
Spiezio--There's got to be a better choice out there.
Yes doctor, I am sick. Sick of those who are spineless. Sick of those who feel self-entitled. Sick of those who are hypocrites. Yes doctor, an army is forming. Yes doctor, there will be a war. Yes doctor, there will be blood.....
ramirez - has put up a fairly reliable 5 homers and 20 rbi the past few months
nevin - could be big time production down the stretch, could continue to hit .250
beltre - not so much a second half player as he is an august player. look at the splits, he goes back to sucking in september. there is, of course, the chance that he could buck the trend.
tex - very inconsistent. capable of putting up big numbers but prone to some long cold streaks. its a year too early to count on him in your fantasy league.
i like ramirez out of the group. i think he presents the least amount of risk and if you are depending on someone among these guys as your starting 3b then i would go with him. his averave might not be good but i think you can pencil him in for 5 homers and 20 rbi's in september and that isnt bad.
