While I'm right behind you thrusting.
Fiona's got him on the phone,
And she's trying not to moan.
It's a three-way call and he knows nothing!

Well Frank settled down in the Valley
and hung his wild years
on a nail that he drove through
his wife's forehead
he sold used office furniture
out there on San Fernando Road
and assumed a $30,000 loan
at 15 1/4 % and put down payment
on a little two bedroom place
his wife was a spent piece of used jet trash
made good bloody marys
kept her mouth shut most of the time
had a little Chihuahua named Carlos
that had some kind of skin disease
and was totally blind. They had a
thoroughly modern kitchen
self-cleaning oven (the whole bit)
Frank drove a little sedan
they were so happy

One night Frank was on his way home
from work, stopped at the liquor store,
picked up a couple Mickey's Big Mouths
drank 'em in the car on his way
to the Shell station, he got a gallon of
gas in a can, drove home, doused
everything in the house, torched it,
parked across the street, laughing,
watching it burn, all Halloween
orange and chimney red then
Frank put on a top forty station
got on the Hollywood Freeway
headed north

Never could stand that dog

Guys, I am sorry that I upset some of you.

Postby boyroger » Mon Feb 26, 2007 9:40 am

That was not my intent.
I am just a little tired of war(s) and death (a few sons of friends who were only there for medical aid) and lies, and big business profiting from destruction and mayhem. (Does anyone remember the video of Halliburton's board/stockholders' meeting, and how HAPPY they were that the US was going to engage Iraq?)

My statement, however one feels about it, is completely irrelevant to how I feel about "the troops". I feel sorry for them, as they are being used as pawns in rich-man's folly. And also, a hugely disproportionate number of them are from poor areas.

By the way, I don't understand the "coward" comment. Wasn't it the great original statesmen who said that critical thinking about our govt. is essential to it's survival as it was invented?

Any of you who are so gung-ho about W's war, then why are you still here? C'mon soldier, pack up and go get 'em.

Again, I apologize for upsetting anyone with my statement. In hindsight, I should have kept quiet, but I'm just sick of son's of friends dying young.

My favorite 50 Cent lyric would have to be...

"I love you like a fat kid loves cake."

That's funny, because fat kids DO love cake. :-D

Exactly. Roger, the only thing you said was lose the GI Joe crap. The only thing that says is you don't support the soldiers fighting for us. If you're against the war, etc, whatever...fine...doesn't really matter. But what you said originally in no way equals what you just wrote.
