Joe Saunders - SP LAA

[Simply Dangerous]

Anyone know anything about this guy? I read somewhere that he might get a callup this weekend with Weaver and Escobar hurting. I also read that the Angels consider him "untouchable" unless it's for a Miggy Cabrera type player.

Thinking of dropping Sosa for this guy in a keeper. Any thoughts?

Joe Saunders: He's the ace of the Angel's AAA team in Salt Lake City. He's a lefty. He gets a ton of groundball outs. He has a .228 BAA and a greater than 2:1 K/BB ratio, 10-3 with a 2.50 ERA in AAA. Still young enough to be a prospect (he's 25, but only since last month!). Owns a Little League World Series "ring."

Sosa is garbage. I can name at least 50 prospects I'd rather own than Sosa. Hell, grab Saunders-- he could be very good (we'll get an idea tonight!)

what do u guys think of him... who would u rather have saunders or anthony reyes in a dynasty league?
