I wouldn't. Lo Duca is a pretty consistent .300 hitter who bats in the 2nd or 3rd spot in the lineup and he also plays everyday, playing at 1B or OF when he isn't catching. I don't see any real advantage to LeCroy over him.
I'd keep LoDuca. It's always nice to keep another C around to make up for off days, usually I turn that guy over quite a bit. I just dropped LoDuca (have Kendall) to grab Hammock, hoping he plays monday, then I'll grab LoDuca back unless somebody grabs him off waivers. Either way, I need to start making up as many games as possible at C to gain stats. I've peeked ahead and LoDuca has a game when the Pirates are off in a week or so.
I'm pretty much on pace at all other positions. I'm 9 games off the pace at C. I'm pretty diligent about hitting my limits, and not going too far over on IP.
Just a tip! All those missed games add up. You might lose a bit in AVG, but you gain in 4 other categories. Getting a C that' plays everyday and bats in the top half of the order is big. It doesn't have to be Piazza, but LoDuca and Kendall are good options in later rounds.

I have Lo Duca too, but I doubt anyone will want to trade for him.
I have stuck with one catcher all year and I have been in first place for the longest time. Paul's average has been killing me of late though and his power numbers stink.
Hammock and LeCroy are both available in my league.
So either I drop Lo Duca for one of them or drop someone like Phil Nevin or Luis Matos who I hardly ever use.
I would drop Matos because he has been in freefall for the last month and isn't really doing much. I agree with the poster above that explained the value of getting as many games out of your catcher as possible. Yes, it might hurt your average, but the potential extra runs, HRs and RBI are worth it. Lo Duca plays almost everyday, batting 2nd in the lineup so has good value. Hammock is platooning with Moeller, so he will only frustrate you. LeCroy is DHing every day right now, but who knows how long that will last? As soon as Jacque Jones' hamstrings act up again, he will have to DH and LeCroy will be back on the bench.
Drop Matos for LeCroy and certainly keep an eye on Hammock.
