Actually I was and still am pretty damn high on Dice-Walk. Might be a good buy low candidate.

He has one bad inning in a few of his starts where he walks three or four guys and that has been his undoing. Batters are still having a hard time making solid contact on his pitches.

Haven't watched his last two starts so I guess I have to take your word for it. Still, it seems like he is not making the adjustments in game.

I heard some talking head say that his delivery from the stretch is .7 seconds and his delivery from a windup was 4 seconds. So Theo &co are trying to make the adjustments to get him to slow down while in the stretch. He's having control problems from rushing so much.

And then after he makes those adjustments, much of the league will have already seen him once and should be more effective against him.

I still see him as a 3.75-4.20 ERA guy in the AL East. Pretty good, not amazing.

Oh, and before you get on me for being a Yankees fan, we definitely could have used him this year, even if that's what he ends up having.

After watching a few of his starts early in the season, I said he would probably be hit hard by good teams eventually. However I certainly didn't expect teams to hit him as hard as they have this early. I haven't watched any of his recent starts, but it appears his main problem has been his inability to throw strikes. It also hurts that he's played both the Mariners and Yankees twice, they've had time to know his stuff. I suspect his numbers will be better than this, he should be a good buy low candidate, but I'm wishing that I had taken that Halladay-Dice K bet I was offered at this point.
