it was really two trades but with the same guy a couple of weeks apart

You should have asked for Joey Votto. He's way better than brother Jake...

Seriously, though, you fleeced that guy. You should be ashamed. ;-D

Votto is a terrific hitter and will start at 1B no later than 2008, possibly next year. Sanchez will be contributing to the Tigers winning the division this fall. Penn could be good, but he doesn't have the polish of Sanchez, and regarding Buck, OFers who have nice seasons hitting doubles are pretty easy to find year after year. He's tailed off since his very hot start.
