I'm not very good with photoshop but after about an hour(on a mac :-P

) I came up with this sig.

Any suggestions?

And where can you download brushes for free?

There's nothing wrong with a mac

As for the sigs it looks like you have some decent cuts which is the first part. The second part is just practice and you'll get the hang of it. I'd suggest maybe looking at a few tutorials and go from there.
