Most breakout athlete:

Chris Paul NBA
Sean White Snowboarding
Kimmie Messner Figureskating.

Ok this is voted on by the fans.

Hmmm who's gonna win this one?? DUH the NBA player. They could've put any ANY NBA player on there and beat a snowboarder/skateboarder and a Figureskater.

You forgot Alexander Ovechkin, the one who deserved to win it. But as you said, there was no chance he would've won becuase it's voted on by the fans.

Walter Ray got best bowler? Terrible. :-t

Tommy Jones should have won it and there's no discussion about it as it shouldn't have been anywhere near close.

Pathetic. :-t

Yeah, that's what I hate about these awards. You'll never see a hockey player win any of them, (with the exception of course being, the best NHL player). Ovechkin probably scored the best goal I've ever seen in my life this season, but it wasn't even nominated for best play.

That goal was ridiculous. I agree it definitely should've been nominated for best play (it's better than that David Wright catch imo)

well actually, i may give ovechkin the nod because this guy kinda looks like a pansy when he scores and does his figure skating twirl.

You can't compare that goal with Ovechkin's. That goal was in a skills competition. Overchekin's goal was in a live game.

I didn't want to include that because it was in a skills competition, but yeah that move he did there was sick. Ovechkin's was going full speed during a game though, so you've gotta give him big props for that.
