21 runs, 3 hr, 19 rbi, 7 sb, .377 avg in 138 ABs away
17 runs, 2 hr, 9 rbi, 5 sb, .224 avg in 161 ABs at Petco
Is this a case of a pitchers park hiding how well Barfield has been playing or is it a statistical anomaly based on the small sample size? Either way those splits are pretty staggering

Almost certainly sample size... He's been streaky and his cold streaks probably coincided with home games, vice versa.

For a righty pull hitter Petco isn't really a pitchers park down the line, so Barfield may be trying to pull at home and that's hurting him some. Haven't seem him really play or seen his hitting charts so I don't know what kind of hitter he is. Petco being right there next to the ocean though, except for a few summer days when the wind is coming off the desert, that Marine layer humidity is gonna make the ball heavy and the air thick. Imagine a humid sauna that's cold and that sort of what the marine layer is.

I have Barf for a minimum of 6 years in a Dynasty league, and I am excited to see what he can do. I think All-Star in the future.

I have to decide on Barfield or Kendrick....Decisions, decisions.
Basically I'm complicated.
I have a hard time taking the easy way
I wouldn't call it schizophrenia
But Ill be at least two people today
If that's OK
And I can go on, and on, and on...
But who cares?

Not to hard IMO, I'd take Kendrick with out giving it to much thought. Better park, better future line up, and better prospect.

That sums it up pretty well.
I'd like to see him get a bit more speed before I use a spot on him, though. And PetCo Park is a b*tch for hitters ...
The lightside shall prevail...
Oh, and go Dodgers!
