Only Angel pitcher headed to DL is Escobar - there is no indication or even speculation of Weaver being injured on Angels site or any other major news service.

Someone post a link, please.

There was buzz on the radio that he was going to the DL, but now its that he will miss his next start or something like that

No link yet, it was just announced on the Angel's broadcast.

But, they say he will probably only miss one start, and that Jered wanted to pitch through the pain.

No DL, just missing a start, minor tendinitis in the bicep. Doesn't look in pain or anything. He was high-fiving guys with his right arm. The announcers said the missed start was against his wishes, so it sounds like they're just being extra careful. He didn't pitch at all last year because he held out to sign to just before the last draft, so I'm not sure he's in 35 start shape.

So he won't pitch on Monday?? Who will replace him then? That means they need someone for Monday and Tuesday. :-?

They're bring up 2 rooks. Saunders for Escobar's start and I can't remember who else for Weaver's start.
