Traded Lopez/Kearns for Bullpen Help

We took it with no lube in this trade fellas....I'm not a fan of this trade at all because I don't think we got nearly enough value for Felipe and Austin....

I wouldn't mind trading those two but for goodness sakes, get some good players in return....Bray is the only guy I see having a chance to be good in this trade....Majewski is going to get shelled in our ballpark, and the rest are all scrubs....

Time will tell, but at the moment I don't like the trade one bit :-t

ah, i dunno...majewski's a ground-baller, which is just what we need. i like bray and harris, too.

the reds' minor-league coaches have apparently ruined ryan wagner, by the way...

the two things that still get under my skin are 1) having royce clayton on our team :-P and 2) my belief that we could have brought back more value from kearns + felo.

but i'm not wayne. i love wayne. he will lead us to victory. probably not this year, maybe not next year, but soon.

b
yeah, yes...

This trade was not nearly as bad as everyone makes it out to be...

That was a good post TOSF, and I really hope you're right....

Like I said, I have no beef with trading Kearns and Lopez because I agree with you that AK was becoming a mini AD, and Lopez has regressed from last year, but I think we "settled" for this trade....Sure we improved that woeful bullpen and the offense should still be near the top, but it could've been better imo.....

If we're in first place come October, I will bow to your wisdom ;-D

This trade is not as bad as everyone makes it out to be. We'll win the wildcard, and that relief help will be really valuable in the post season.
