How good will Brandon McCarthy be once he starts for the Chisox?

I'm debating picking this guy up off waivers as I have 3 left for the season.................

He will be starting after they get rid of, Vasquez and /or garcia.

We start 4 starters.

Lackey
Verlander
Burnett
Josh Johnson
Pelfrey
Sheets

dont have much depth at all....

I like Mike Mc C and almost kept him in a keeper league this year. I let him go, tried to get him back in the draft, but he ended up going early than I had expected and didn't get him back. Could he compare to B.Myers in a C.Young body?
