This week has not been good for me, pitching-wise.

Hoffman blows the save last night, in spectacular fashion, I might add.

Lester gets roughed up, but surprisingly, only gives up 1 run. He leaves with the lead, only to have it blown for him.

Clemens has a pretty good night, but Houston doesn't like to score any runs when he pitches..

I bench Cliff Lee. I mean he's going against Liriano and the hot Twinkies, there's no way he can win, right? Wrong. He wins one on my bench.

I bench Zito against Boston's offensive juggernaut. He wins.

And now Kazmir is missing his start tonight. Aarrrrgggghhhh!! There's a nice goose-egg for me! (weekly lineups) :-[

Oh well, at least I've got Pedro and Prior... oh wait.. :-D

Ouch this hurts....Would have been a great start against a bad LAA offense. He should be fine for his next start I would guess

I'm showing him projected to pitch against Santana on Thursday, or did they just move him back a few days and not skip him outright? I guess either way, Liriano or Santana's not a real good draw for an opposing pitcher.. :~(

Edit: Oops, just read the article. Kaz v. Liriano should be quite the matchup.

True. Outside of Morneau and Mauer, it's a pretty thin offense... but you never know :-?

He'll also have a 2 start week next week - pitching Tuesday and Sunday according to Rotowire.

I just hope my team can survive this short week without his start. :-o
