John Patterson could be lost for the season

The Washington Post reports that John Patterson's (forearm) chances of "being lost for the season appear increasingly high."
Patterson will be examined by doctors Monday and undergo an MRI Tuesday, at which point the Nationals will have a good idea of his prognosis. "This is not career-ending," Patterson said. "Is it disappointing? Yeah. Does it mess up my season? Yeah. Did I have better hopes for this season? Absolutely. So did everybody. It just didn't happen this year."

this is disappointing, he was supposed to be my #2 pitcher. I haven't even activate him from the DL.

I miss his Ks most of all. I was in first place in that category when he was going strong. Now I'm 3rd.

You've held onto him this long, why not wait until after the MRI on Tuesday? Thats what I'm doing... but then again, I have the extra DL spot... and that last line doesn't make it look too good. Seems like he has already given up on the season.

Does kind of suck. He was supposed to be my #2 pitcher at the beginning of the year. Looks like that gamble didn't pay off. I also have Sheets, and hope he comes back strong... but I picked him up off waivers, so I'm more just hoping he replaces Patterson.
