Craig COUNSELL actually broke a rib and is out 3-6 weeks according to Melvin. Drew has already been called up and has a chance to start tomorrow even though Easley usually plays against lefties due to the fact that he has been so hot lately.

Anyway, it was only a matter of time as Drew was hitting better than BJ Upton and im not really surprised he beat Upton to the majors. If Drew plays well with Counsell out, Counsell becomes a bench player the rest of this year. Drew hit well at Triple-A .284 13 HR 51 RBI 3/6 SB .340 OBP.

Actually Melvin specifically stated that usually he does sit guys right after they get called up, but because Drew is so hot there is a chance he coiuld start so unless you have already seen the lineup you're wrong.

Nope, haven't seen the lineup, just the quote from Melvin in today's Arizona Republic. (Phoenix #1 newspaper)

Well if you were even somewhat observant you would notice that I live in Phoenix. Which means obviously I know what the #1 newpaper is and I also know what the facts are. Melvin did not actually state that he would sit Drew, but merely stated that it is a possibility because that is typically what he does with call ups. Like I stated above, he did say that there is a possibility for this not to happen because Drew has been very hot lately.
