Reyes sets date: The lineup sheet distributed in the press box before last night's game mistakenly had Jose Reyes batting fifth and playing third base.

It made for a double take.

"I'll play Tuesday," Reyes had said about an hour earlier.

Reyes took batting and infield practice again yesterday, and the swelling has subsided in his injured left pinkie. Reyes has full flexibility with the finger, and while there's some soreness, he said, "It has gotten better."

The player batting fifth and playing third base, of course, was actually David Wright, who went 3 for 5 with a home run.

Jose Reyes (stitches in pinkie) has vowed to return to the lineup on Tuesday.
Reyes only feels discomfort in his pinkie while catching balls. He will leave the stitches in his finger for the a few more days.
