2 jacks tonight, and 1 off Santana on Sunday...here's hoping the return of his hitting coach did the trick.

Yup - he's 2-4 tonight with 2 HRs and 4 RBI. I sure hope that this is a sign of things to come!

I traded for him during the break and gave up Delgado and Swisher. This was a nice debut.

:,-( Why did I convince my league to take this week off??? Oh yea, its cause I got crushed with no starting pitchers last year's all star week....

I just gave up Vazquez for him, so if he turns in a huge 2nd half...ok, I know this should go in the trade forum...but I'm thinking of offering Tex and Ensberg for Miggy, and while we are on the topic, should I try and do this? I just offered C Patterson, Ensberg, and Arroyo, for Miggy and Z Miner...

And Swisher and Delgado for Tex, Helton and Ray? Wow, I feel like I robbed the bank, just giving up Vazquez...

I'd say. Teixeira wasn't horrible the first half. It's not like he was hitting .200 or something. Whoever gave up a 1st-2nd round pick for a pitcher who was having problems of is own is either a fool or a guy dumping his team.

He had Delgado and Fielder who were both outperforming Tex, and had serious pitching problems. Tex was riding his bench...wasn't collusion (my league is hell on trades).
