Felipe Lopez moves to the Nats...good or bad?

Postby Don G. » Thu Jul 13, 2006 3:49 pm

I'm not sure if this is good or bad. I'm starting to convince myself it might not be that bad. Making a move like this in combination with the fact that Soriano has expressed interest in staying will mean that he'll have someone batting him in and the reds have been underachieving. He's also got a bigger park so there's more potential for triples...which are worth a lot of points in my league.

I wonder how this will affect Adam Dunn?

Im skepticle so I think this is going to reflect poorly, and since I have Lopez this ticks me off.

I also have E. Encarnacion... will he even get more play time this year?

I would assume that means he is not playing tonight...any word on when the new boys will join the Nats...probably in time for tomorrow's game.

thank got the last guy i picked up was ian kinsler!!!
the lopez move is really really really bad news. you can forget about his 20 hr potential now.
The washington lineup looks kinda hot, but felipe's avg inst a top tier avg anyways. the Rbi's could be a suprise though. the sb's should be just as ample as they were when he was in cincy. i mean...soriano has been running this year more than ever.
but i dont care cus sb's are a streaky stat. thank god for ian kinsler!
