Casey Blake Update

After Monday's shortened rehab stint, Blake joined Class A Lake County for a full game on Tuesday and went 1-for-2 with a first-inning two-run home run, and appeared ready to rejoin the Indians on Thursday in Minnesota.

he was activated on thursday and he was in the starting lineup. is he worth a pick up??

After he hit a home run in his rehab stint & was activated for tonight's game in which he hit a 2 run shot off Liriano, I would have to say Yes.

Of course he was still in my DL spot so it didn't count but certainly makes a good case that he is coming back ready to produce big numbers in the second half.
