It's August, and the Red Sox are still two games out of a wild card berth. That means the Red Sox aren't going to smell a playoff berth anyway.

not if they beat oakland today. then they'll only be 1 game out and stuff. but if they lose.. ouch 3 games is a lot. 35-36 games left in the season anyhow. still quite a while to go. ;-D ;-D
