Roto League

12 team league
30 man rosters, 15 keepers
15 man minor league roster

C: Brian McCann
1B: Mark Teixeria
2B: Jorge Cantu(3B)
SS: Rafael Furcal
3B: Aramis Ramirez
OF: Michael Cuddyer(1B/2B/3B)
OF: Gary Matthews Jr
OF: Jeff Francouer
UTI: Aubry Huff(1B/3B)
UTI: Pedro Felix
UTI: Michael Barrett
BN: Xavier Nady
BN: Dan Johnson
BN: Ronny Cedeno
BN: Luis Gonzalez
BN: Luis Castillo
BN: Matt Murton
BN: Garrett Anderson

I think my pitchers that are keepers no doubt are Jeremy Bonderman, Brandon Webb, Carlos Zambrano

On the fence, Josh Johnson

Guys I could/should/would trade are Daniel Cabrera, Bob Wickman, Joe Borowski, Bobby Howry, Brad Halsey, Clay Hensley, Kame Loe(DL), Sergio Mitre(DL).

We also have minors, and here are mine

P Josh Johnson -- already called up
2B Ian Kinsler - 102 AB
P Yusmeiro Petit - 11.0 IP
P Thomas Diamond - 0 IP
P Jason Hirsh - 0 IP
1B James Loney - 40 AB
P Ricky Nolasco - 60.0 IP
1B Wes Bankston - 0 AB
2B Eric Patterson - 0 AB
P Rich Hill - 43.0 IP
P Jon Broxton - 40.1 IP
P Carlos Marmol - 16.0 IP
P Juan Salas -

A couple of guys I could add are Ian Kinsler(2B/SS) and RP Jon Broxton but I would have to clear spots for them. Clearly I believe Kinsler has a brighter FUTURE than Luis Castillo but once we call a guy up from our minors we can not return them to the minor league roster.

Garrett Anderson and Luis Gonzalez have been big disappointments overall this year as neither is starting becasue neither has hit enough to start.

Some FA on the market.

3B/SS/2B Freddy Sanchez .361 5 49 1
SS Omar Vizquel .302 3 27 11
OF Reed Johnson .362 4 20 7
1B Adrian Gonzalez .275 13 36 0
1B/OF/3B Mike Lamb .338 8 27
OF Kenny Lofton .296 0 20 15
INF/OF Mark DeRosa .333 4 29 2

Mike Maroth(DL) 5 W 3.56 ERA 1.48 -- Could be a keeper, would be better than Daniel Cabrera who is healthy.
Jason Jennings 6 W 3.67 ERA 1.35 WHIP
Aaron Cook 6 W 3.61 1.35

I always thought Lamb was an interesting prospect with the Astros, as long as he's not robbed by Matthews in center, he can provide power and position flexibility

In the FA pool you provided, there aren't a lot of interesting names....though I find the league very cool/competitive having a minor league roster ;-D

Anderson's a good drop...his best is behind him, and the current ain't so good

for keepers, I would think Zam, Bondy, Webb, and Tex for sure...I'd consider A Ram (depending on second half), Cantu, and McCann....overall, looks like a fun league and I'm jealous...

Yeah, im not really high on Dan Johnson or Luis Gonzalez. Im thinking about adding Mike Lamb or Mark DeRosa and Adrian Gonzalez to the team.

I know this year is lost but im not one to give up, I maybe in 10 th now but I dont plan to end the year there.

Its a nice league, its in our 1st year, if we have any spots open up I will keek you in mind.
