How much could it effect Ensberg? Astros assigned Lane to make room for Huff and from what I hear Huff and Berkman are alternating at 1st and OF.. Here is a clip from CBS.. Makes sense to me. I think Ensberg stays put with a few spot starts from Huff at 3rd. But not much.
News: The Astros have acquired outfielder Aubrey Huff and Ty Wigginton will likely take over full-time at third in Tampa Bay, barring another trade. Now, the other machinations of this trade on Houston's end are these: Lance Berkman and Huff will play every day in some fashion, first base or right field. Berkman could play some left field again, too, when recently hot Mike Lamb is at first. Also, Preston Wilson, Chris Burke and Willy Taveras will be fighting for what's at most two -- and sometimes one -- outfield spot.
And here is a clip from Rorowire..
Huff will see most of his time in the outfield, but could also play a little third for the struggling Morgan Ensberg. He gives manager Phil Garner incredible flexibility with his lineup. He will play everyday and be a big help to the Houston offense.
BOTTOM LINE: I really would not sweat it Ensberg owners.. Id be very surprised to see Huff play 15 Games at 3rd for the Stros
